Welcome to St. Alphonsa Church
We are a mission that is part of the St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Diocese of Chicago. The Syro-Malabar rite is an ancient Oriental rite in the Catholic church, dating back to the first century A.D. when Thomas the Apostle visited India.
We meet twice a month (on the second & the last Sundays of the month) for Malayalam Mass at the Dolores Church. For directions click here. If you are new in the area, we welcome you to join us for the mass and other community events!
Our Dream Project
We seek your prayers, efforts and contributions towards building the first Catholic church in Central Texas bearing the name of our beloved Saint Alphonsa. What is being envisioned is not just a capital campaign; but, we are reaching out for prayers, faith and support from everyone in our community as well as from believers all over the world. We are aiming at organizing a variety of fund-raising activities and events that will be ongoing to help with offsetting costs. We welcome all the members in our community to pour in ideas and suggestions.
If you would like to participate in our efforts and support us by contributing to our Building fund, please contact us:-
